regional transportation commisison of southern nevada

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada is an independent governmental agency responsible transportation in Southern Nevada, primarily Las Vegas. The RTC operates the Citizens' Area Transit (CAT) system, which currently includes a bus line and a bus rapid transit system (known as Metropolitan Area Express - MAX). In addition, the RTC is also the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Southern Nevada, identifying and coordinating all public works projects in Southern Nevada with regards to streets and highways.
