Regional Record

A regional record in Olympics and sports is the record time of the fastest athlete in an athletic course. Regional record is akin to world record.
In media, a regional record is the record of the releases of the library or series of video games, animes, or motion pictures on the basis of region, especially among countries or continents. Japan-only means marketed exclusively in Japan, and Europe-only means marketed exclusively in Europe. Regional records sometimes influence audiences to learn the language of the country that the particular region favors.
