Raymond Lau

Raymond Lau is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of iPhrase Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of innovative search and customer interaction solutions. He is best known for being the author of the Stuffit archival and compression utility program for the Apple Macintosh. StuffIt has been the standard on the Mac since 1987. Today, it is being published by Allume Systems. Lau was also the founder of PalmCentral, now Handango, the leading Web site for handheld computing and smartphone users. He received his S.B., S.M., and Ph.D. degrees from MIT and is also a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City. Today, Ray resides in Boston, Massachusetts. He serves on both iPhrase and Handango's boards of directors.
