Ray Ozzie

Ray Ozzie (born November 20, 1955) is an innovative and influential American computer programmer who is best known for writing the first versions of Lotus Notes software, later bought by IBM. In more recent times Ozzie has been working on a project to help people work effectively in groups, called Groove, and is now Microsoft's CTO following their acquisition of Groove. He received his bachelor's degree in computer science in 1979 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he worked on the PLATO system.
