Rankmat

The Yuuzhan Vong rakamat is, like all other examples of their technology, completely alive. It is approximately the size of an AT-AT walker, but with six legs instead of four. Also unlike AT-ATs, the rakamat can project microsingularities via onboard Dovin Basals. Further, it is far more offensively powerful, capable of launching a devastating ball of plasma from its jaw. The Jedi Master Kyp Durron once turned a rakamat's Dovin Basal-projected singularity against itself, turning the miniature black hole around to swallow the tank-like beast whole. The technique exhausted him thoroughly, however. At another point, it took six X-wings and a hidden cache of explosives to bring one down, but at the Battle of Borleias in , Wedge Antilles took one down by tricking its own coralskipper support to crash into it, and blast it in two, to support the downed freighter, the Ammuud Swooper.
