Rankin Inlet, Nunavut

Rankin Inlet (Inuktitut: Kangiqiniq ᑲᖏᕿᓂᖅ or Kangirliniq ᑲᖏᖅᖠᓂᖅ) is a city in Nunavut territory of Canada. It is in western Hudson Bay. There used to be a nickel mine (closed in 1963) and a copper mine in the area. See also Inuit, Nunavut, First Nations of Canada, Inuktitut
