Randy Cassingham

Randy Cassingham is an American syndicated columnist, humorist, publisher, and speaker. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. Cassingham is the author of the weekly column "This is True", which features actual news of unbelievable character, and publisher of the "True Stella Awards", a free mailing list dedicated to informing the public about frivolous legal cases. Cassingham also started the "Heroic Stories" mailing list, which told the stories of remarkable acts of kindness and courage. Management of "Heroic Stories" has since been turned over to others. Cassingham is reputidly the author of the phrase "There are 10 type of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who don't." Cassingham and his wife make their home in Colorado.
