Geography

Randsburg is located at 35°22'3" North, 117°39'15" West (35.367588, -117.654189). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.1 km² (2.0 mi²). 5.1 km² (2.0 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 77 people, 49 households, and 22 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 15.1/km² (39.1/mi²). There are 109 housing units at an average density of 21.4/km² (55.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 85.71% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 5.19% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 3.90% from other races, and 5.19% from two or more races. 5.19% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 49 households out of which 4.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.9% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 53.1% are non-families. 49.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 24.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.57 and the average family size is 2.09. In the CDP the population is spread out with 3.9% under the age of 18, 2.6% from 18 to 24, 15.6% from 25 to 44, 48.1% from 45 to 64, and 29.9% who are 65 years of age or older.
