Ramallo MassacreIn September 19, 1999, three armed persons went into the local offices of the Banco de la Nacin Argentina, taking hostages. After many hours, they tried to escape in a car, using the bank manager and the accountant as human shields. A few meters ahead, the police killed one of the suspects and the two hostages. Another suspect was found hung in his cell. To the date it isn't clear if this was a suicide or a homicide. Mainstream media treated this as another hostage situation, but this crime was very uncommon. It's very strange for a special unit of the police to deliberately shot a car with hostages inside (videos of the event shows bullet coming from every direction), let alone killing all of them. Experts say (on non-mainstream media) that in this particular office of the bank stored documents relating to the then president Carlos Menem, specifically to his son's helicopter accident, and that was the reason of the police killing every possible witness. Carlos Menem's son, Carlos Jr., died in a strange helicopter accident in March 1995. The chopper was found on a open field, burnt. The justice resolved it was an accident, but the bullet holes were never explained (neither shown by mainstream media). Experts say it was a job of the organized crime, particularly a mid-eastern mafia, which was allegedly linked to Menem's reelection campaign for, coincidentally, 1995.
