Ralph 'Sonny' Barger

Sonny Barger (born ?1939) is a founding member of the original Oakland, California chapter of Hells Angels, and perhaps the best-known member of the Hells Angels. As of 2004, Barger remains in the Hells Angels as a member of the Cave Creek Chapter. Barger is most famous for being a chief honcho Hells Angel at the Rolling Stone's concert at Altamont in 1969, where Hells Angels killed a spectator (who had a gun, according to the court record, which includes testimony by the victim's girlfriend who was there). Sonny has a web site which offers more information on the individual.
