Rainbow Family

The rainbow family of living light is an international loose affiliation of individuals who have a common goal of trying to achieve peace and love on Earth. The Rainbow Family is a non-organization. There are no leaders, no structure, no official spokespersons, and no membership. Instead, the Rainbow Family forms community through shared "traditions" of love for the Earth, and gatherings to pray for peace. The Rainbow Family has many gatherings of various local groups throughout the year, and one main gathering each summer in the US where, on the fourth of July, they pray for peace. The annual Rainbow gatherings attract between 10,000 and 40,000 people, and are held on public lands.
