Raetic Language

Raetic is an obscure language of antiquity, which used to be spoken in the eastern Alps, to the north and west of Venetic. It is so sparsely attested, that there is room for speculation both for an Indo-European ancestry, in which case Illyrian and Germanic have been mentioned, and for an affiliation with Etruscan.
