The Raelettes were a girl group. Its membership consisted of Ethel (Darlene) McCrea, Margie Hendricks, Patricia Lyles, and Gwendoly Berry. They did release several singles, but are well known for their back-up vocals with Ray Charles. Although they were never greatly known for their solo singles they scored three minor pop hits: One Hurt Deserves Another (#67) 1967 I Want To (Do Everything For You) (#92) 1970 Bad Water (#53) 1971 They also had numerous R&B hits including "I've Been Gett'N Along Alright." (#23) and "I Want to Thank You" (#101 pop)
