Radcliffe Line

The radcliffe line was the line drawn between India and Pakistan during the Indian independence and when the Pakistanis split themselves from India. Many thought that lahore would be a part of India as it was a Sikh-Hindu majority, but when they were informed that lahore will be a part of Pakistan, the Sikhs gave a valiant attack, but were calmed by the Pakistan army. The line was erected by Sir Cyril Radcliffe. This line might not be in existence now.
