Racial Science

A research program of the 19th and early 20th centuries, aimed at classifying and categorizing humans based on various physical characteristics thought to separate the human species into distinct races. Discredited by the overt racism and sloppy methods of its practitioners, and by its central position in Nazi ideology, racial science is now seen as a pseudoscience.
