Rabbit PunchA rabbit punch is a punch to the back of the head. This is dangerous because it can damage the brain stem, causing death or permanent injury, and for this reason is illegal in boxing and many martial arts. Hunters will sometimes kill a rabbit with a sharp strike from the edge of their hand to the back of the rabbit's head. The punch's name derives from this technique.
