R.c. Flagman

The Remote Controlled Flagman (R.C. Flagman) is one of the first automated flagging machines, designed to replace traffic control people in construction workzones. This trailed mounted system utilizes radio signals to control a Red and Amber light to control traffic. A reflective gate arm comes down over the roadway to halt traffic.
