R. U. SiriusR. U. Sirius (born Ken Goffman) is an American writer, musician, and cyberculture icon best known as co-founder and original Editor-In-Chief of Mondo 2000. Sirius was also chairman and candidate in the 2000 U.S. presidential election for The Revolution Party.http://www.politics1.com/indep.htm A regular columnist for Wired News, 21C, and EYE-COM and contributing writer for Wired, Artforum International and Esquire, Sirius has written several hundred articles and essays for mainstream and subculture publications. Sirius appeared in the popular film Synthetic Pleasures. His rock band, MV Inc. (The Artists Formerly Known As Mondo Vanilli), performs web events. Its "album" IOU Babe is available only on the World Wide Web. Sirius has been called "the Wired visionary of post-modernism and psychic pandemonium" in Artforum, "a head on the Mt.
