R. Joe Brandon

R. Joe Brandon (b. 1967) is a U.S. archaeologist whose work has included excavations and surveys in a dozen States, and Guatemala, Belize, Honduras and Ecuador. He studied at Northern Illinois University, graduating in 1989. Brandon continued his education in 1997 at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technology at the University of Arkansas. In the late 1990s Brandon founded Shovel Bums, a free-of-charge archaeology employment service.
