R. G. Collingwood

Robin George Collingwood (February 22, 1889 - January 9, 1943), British philosopher and historian. Collingwood was a latter day idealist, a Waynflete Professor of Metaphysical Philosophy at the University of Oxford and an amateur painter. Amongst his works he wrote the first half of Roman Britain and the English Settlements, the first volume of the Oxford History of England. Collingwood, R. G. Collingwood Collingwood, R. G.
