Qi Jiguang

Qi Jiguang (Simplified Chinese: 戚继光; Traditional Chinese: 戚繼光; Pinyin: qī j gūang) (1528-1588) was a Chinese military leader during the Ming Dynasty. As Assistant Regional Commander of Zhejiang in 1556, Qi successfully fought the Japanese pirates who were attacking China's coastal cities.
