Pyro Studios

PYRO STUDIOS Pyro Studios was founded in 1996 with the purpose of developing top quality videogames. A consequence of this commitment was the development of Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, which was released in 1998. The success of this title led to the release of a disk containing new missions entitled Commandos: Beyond de Call of Duty. In October 2001, the PC version of Commandos 2: Men of Courage was launched, followed by its release on Microsoft Xbox and Sony Playstation 2, in September 2002. In total, the Commandos series has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide. Praetorians, an epic 3D strategy game for the PC set at the time of Julius Caesar's campaigns was released in February 2003. Commandos 3: Destination Berlin, a tactical action strategy game set against the backdrop of World War II, was released in October 2003. Commandos 3 has been a brilliant end to the Commandos saga. Right now the company has four new projects under development. The first one of them Imperial Glory will be available at the beginning of 2005. The company has a staff of 100, including programmers, graphic designers, musicians and videogame designers. It is also very close to achieving its goal of consolidating its position as one of the global leaders in the videogames development.
