Purple Haze

"Purple Haze" is a Jimi Hendrix song from the 1967 album Are You Experienced?. The title is sometimes considered a drug reference, specifically to a potent form of LSD created by Hippie underground chemist Owsley Stanley. Many, however, are sure that it is intended to be a reference to the Vietnam War. The song features simple verse form. The song's lyric "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky" has been widely misheard as "'Scuse me while I kiss this guy."
Purple Haze is also a raspberry flavored beer made by Abita Beer of Abita Springs, Louisiana. The name is a reference to the Jimi Hendrix song and the purple color of the beer.
Purple Haze is also a 1983 film by David Burton Morris that won the Sundance Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize.
Purple Haze is also a 2004 album by a rapper Cam'ron. See Purple Haze (album).
