Punk Magazine

Punk Magazine was a fanzine created by Legs McNeil and John Holmstrom. It was a vehicle for discussing and examining the cultural underground scene of early 70's New York. It named the punk "movement" and also helped to shape a new way of making musical news, making a mixture of Mad Magazine and Rolling Stone.
