Province Of Olbia-tempio

Olbia-Tempio is the name of a proposed new province in the autonomous region of Sardinia, Italy (Regional Law no.9 of 12th july 2001). The new province will have about 120,000 inhabitants. Its administrative capitals will be both Olbia ("Terranoa") and Tempio Pausania ("Tempiu"). The postal and car-plate code will be "OT". The territory will include the historical region of Gallura ("Gaddura"), the northeastern coast of Sardinia ("Costa Smeralda"), and the island of La Maddalena ("A Maddalena"). Other villages in the area are Arzachena, Calangianus, San Teodoro. In the Middle Ages Gallura was one of the four "Giudicati". The language spoken in this province is Corsican dialect (gaddurese) and not Sardinian language. Olbia-Tempio
