PropylenePropylene a member of the Isomer family (aka propene), is a colorless flammable mixture of 3 carbon atoms and 6 hydrogen atoms (C3H6). Having a garlic odor, it is found in coal gas and can be produced by cracking petroleum. propylene has the same chemical formula as cyclopropane but with a different molecular structure.
