- A. Llewellyn, R. Andrews,
Originally under the mentoring of M. Z. T. Bouquet, the Promethian society members comprised the academic elite of their local high school and have advanced to become a collective body of undergraduates and tradespeople representing a pool of diverse social, political, religious and philisophical beliefs (the Society includes a
Methodist, a
Baptist, an
Anglo-Catholic, an
agnostic and an
atheist). The cordial relationship between the members began in their high school history classes and has blossomed into a highly compatable, but stimulating, mix of characteristics. Every year, members of the Society participate in the Annual Cloud
Picnic, Marton Masters and Malkins Open
golf tournaments (internally arranged), and educational excursions. It is during these events that much work and accomplishments of the Society takes place.
Accomplishments
Notable accomplishments by the Society include vast contributions to
Lythallist Theory, creation of the UKAEI (an online database of
nuclear physics), blueprints for an experimental
nuclear reactor and a neo-gothic
cathedral, much reasoning over the meaning and functionality of religion and similar philosophies as well as small-scale
coal and carbonerous resource excavation. The validity and value of the Society's work, however, remains questionable.
Publications
The Society has not yet published any work, however it is rumoured that there is at least one book in the pipeline.
