Prohibitionists In Manitoba (Provincial Candidates)

In Manitoba's 1903 election, there were four candidates who ran as Prohibitionists. These were H.L. Montgomery, W.R. Mulock, Reuben Cross and J.F. Hunter. None were successful, although Montgomery came within twenty votes of winning in Deloraine. They do not appear to have been an organized party. Although other parties supported prohibition, no provincial candidates ran as "prohibitionists" after 1903. See also: Canadian political parties
