Prm is a city in the Westeifel (Rheinland-Pfalz), Germany. Formerly a district town, today it is the administrative seat in the community. Prm is a medium sized city. =Geography= Prm lies on the Prm River (a tributary of the Sauer) and is at the foot of the Schneifel, which is 453m high. =Economy= Since 1980 is has not been possible to take the train to Prm, with the exception of freight trains that operated up to the end of the 1990s. In December 2000 the last train went trough Prm, and this was a special event. Since that time, the rail tracks have been dismantled. The federal highway B265 and B410 cros in Prm, the autobahn A60 and B51 also run near the city. Prm Air Station is located just outside of Prm, and this station is operated by the United States Air Force. = Prmer Sommer = In July and August Prm summer takes place. The prelude begins Mark Sunday with a music competion on the streets. During the next eight Thursdays, various guests meet at the town hall, where there are various competitions, such as a beer jug lift and trunk sawing.
