Prism (Band)

Prism was a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1976 by Ron Tabak (vocals), Lindsay Mitchell (guitar), Allan Harlow (bass), Rocket Norton (drums) and John Hall (keyboards).

History

After signing with GRT Records, they released their self-titled album in 1977. That was followed by See Forever Eyes (1978) and Armageddon (1979). Tabak and Hall subsequently left the band and Henry Small replaced Tabak on lead vocals. Prism then signed on with Capitol Records and released Young and Restless (1980) and Small Change (1981). The band broke up in 1982 but Beat Street followed in 1983. A greatest hits album called Over 60 Minutes with...Prism was released in 1988.
