Prince Joachim Of Denmark

HRH Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian, Prince of Denmark (born June 7, 1969), is the younger son of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and her husband, Prince Consort Henrik, formerly Henri de Laborde de Monpezat. He married, on November 18, 1995, Alexandra Christina Manley, a Hong Kong-born former banker of English, Chinese, Polish, and Austrian ancestry. They have two sons, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix. In September of 2004, they announced their separation, which was soon followed by a flurry of newspaper reports regarding the Prince's reported penchant for late-night partying, race-car driving, and other pursuits that some observers saw as elements of a possible mid-life crisis. He currently resides in Schackenborg Manor in southern Jutland. Joachim of Denmark, Prince Joachim of Denmark Joachim of Denmark, Prince
