Porthcurno

Porthcurno is a small coastal village in the far west of Cornwall, England. It is located some three miles east-southeast of Land's End and 7 miles west of Penzance and is perhaps best known for its beautiful beach and the Minack Theatre. Porthcurno was also the British end of the early telegraph cable link to Bombay in India. The Porthcurno Telegraph Museum has interesting exhibitions of the history of the cove. Other points of iterest in the vicinity include the nearby Logan Rock in Treen to the east, the tiny fishing village of Portgwarra and Porthchapel beach to the west.
