Playing It StraightPlaying it Straight is a seven-episode one-hour American reality show brodcast by the Fox Network that premiered on March 12, 2004. In the show, one woman named Jackie (no last name given on the program) spends time on a Nevada ranch with 14 men, in an attempt to discern which of them is homosexual and which of them is heterosexual. All of these men pretend to be heterosexual. Jackie goes on individual dates with the men, as well as engaging in group activities with them. Over the course of the episodes, Jackie votes to eliminate the men she believes to be gay. If Jackie chooses a heterosexual man at the end of the program, she and the man will split $1 million. If she chooses a gay man, he will receive $1 million and Jackie will receive nothing. The program is hosted by Daphne Brogdon. In spring 2004, due to low ratings, the show was officially cancelled.
