Pl/m

The PL/M programming language (for ''Programming Language / Microcomputers'') is a medium-level language developed by MAA (later Digital Research) in 1972 on behalf of Intel for its microprocessors. PL/M is no longer supported by Intel, but aftermarket tools like PL/M-to-C translators exist. The language incorporated ideas from PL/I, ALGOL and XPL, and had an integrated Macro processor. PL/M was the original implementation language for the CP/M operating system. There were PL/M compilers made for the following processors/controllers: Intel 4004, 8008, 8080, 8051, 8086, 286, and 386.
