Pipo Of Ozora

Pipo of Ozora or Ozorai Pipo in Hungarian was born Filippo Scolari, son of a merchant family in Firenze. As general, strategist and confident of Sigismund of Hungary he married Barbara of Ozora in 1398, daughter and heir of Andrew of Ozora. He initiated the building of the Hungarian border castle system to contain the Ottoman Turkish aggression. He died in 1426.
