Pine Cove

Pine Cove, California is a fictional town that serves as the setting for many of the novels by absurdist fiction writer Christopher Moore. The town seems to be the unfortunate location for many supernatural mishaps, having been invaded by vampires, werewolves, ghost-Indians, a sea monster, and zombies. It is the primary setting for his novels The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, Practical Demonkeeping, and The Stupidest Angel, and is also mentioned in Bloodsucking Fiends, and Coyote Blue.
