pilotstars

Founded in Dublin in 1998, Pilotstars are one of the few original live electronic groups to come out of the city. Using only a set of drum pads, two guitars, a vocoder and a PC for most performances, the band are well known in the Dublin scene. Members Graham Cooke (electronics, vocals) and Eoin Gibson (guitars) met in the early 90s and the band evolved from a "common diversity in musical taste, and fundamental disagreement on what exactly sounds good". With influences from sources as diverse as Soul Coughing, Smashing Pumpkins, Underworld, The Orb and Future Sound of London, Pilotstars are certainly the band to watch out for.
