Pigott Street

Piggot Street forms part of the last phase of the building of the Lansbury Estate. The Estate borders Burdett Road on the West. Piggot Street is both a road, on which there are blocks of housing in the form of apartments (also known as flats). This plaque commemorates the final building phase. The housing was completed by the GLC although earlier phases in the Lansbury Estate were implemented by the London County Council
