Pierre-charles Le Sueur

Pierre-Charles Le Sueur (16571704) was a French fur trader and explorer in North America. In 1700, he was with the group that ascended the Great Lakes and struck the Mississippi River in Minnesota. He went upstream as far as the Falls of St. Anthony. The next year he went south all the way to the mouth of the river.
