Philippa Gregory

Philippa Gregory (born 3 January, 1954) is a British novelist, mainly associated with the historical romance genre. She was born in Kenya, and educated at the University of Sussex and University of Edinburgh. Her doctorate in 18th century literature led her into a teaching career. Several of her novels have been adapted for television.
