Phil Tucker

Phil Tucker (1927November 30, 1985) was an American film director, writer and producer. His films, mainly B movie science-fiction, were generally not well received by critics and are usually placed in the "so bad it's good" category. He thus attained something of a cult following. After the poor showing of his 1953 movie Robot Monster he attempted to commit suicide by shooting himself, but missed.
