Phil De Glanville

Phil de Glanville (born 1 October 1968) is a former England rugby captain. He was appointed captain in 1996 by coach Jack Rowell, a move that was criticised on the grounds that he shouldn't have been in the starting XV for the 1997 Five Nations, a point that was reinforced when uncapped Leicester centre Will Greenwood was selected for that summer's Lions tour to South Africa.
