Petri WalliThe founder, vocalist, guitar-player, songwriter and the producer of a Finnish psychedelic rock-band called Kingston Wall. Petri was born the 25th of February 1969 in Finland, and he died the 28th of June 1995 by jumping off a church-roof in Tl, Helsinki. He has a older brother named Hasse Walli, who is also a famous guitar-player (plays mostly jazz, but also a lot of songs written by Jimi Hendrix) in Finland. Petri aka. Pete founded the band called Kingston Wall in 1987, and he was the spirit behind the whole band. They came out with three albums in 1992,1993 and 1994, and broke up the same year as the last album was released. The break-up was started by Petri. After the break-up Petri travelled to Goa, India, where he had been many times before among his friend Ior Bock (There is not much written text about Petri's and Ior's friendship, so nobody exactly knows how good friends they were). After Petri's death, Ior has released a book called The Bock Saga which is about Scandinavian mythologies. Petri was a mysterious person who loved the eastern culture, philosophy, Scandinavian mythologies and most of all, playing guitar. It is said that he was a great lover too, and by the rumours that he committed suicide beacause of his failed relationship with a Finnish girl called Tanja or Tanya, I think he also loved women, in a positive way. Petri had a genius mind, and I think that he was not a normal man. I think he was just crazy enough to still live in Helsinki, in the clubs that they played in, and in the songs that they played. By judging of the lyrics in his songs you can tell that he was about to commit suicide, and if you are very in to it, I think that you can see a whole new world in the lyrics in his songs - you just have to be open-minded. Petri's co-musicians where Jukka Jylli (bass), Petter Sthl/Timo "Tinde" Joutsimki/Sami Kuoppamki (drums), Sakari Kukko (saxophone) and Kimmo Kajasto (synth)
