Peter Gabriel (I)

On February 25, 1977, Peter Gabriel released his first solo album, Peter Gabriel, and started touring as himself, along with a 7-piece band. This was the first album Gabriel had recorded after leaving the progressive rock band Genesis. Gabriel included a team of talented musicians, including Robert Fripp of King Crimson. One of Gabriel's more popular songs, Solsbury Hill was also featured on this album, describing Gabriel's depart from Genesis. The album went to #7 in UK and #38 in the USA.
