Peggy Kerry

Peggy Kerry is the older sister of John Kerry. She is married to George Kaler and has an adopted daughter, Iris, who was born in China. Kerry graduated from Smith College and is co-chair of the New York State Democratic Campaign. She was very active in anti-war campaigning during the 1960s, and was a member of the Vietnam Moratorium Project. Kerry has worked for the ACLU, the New York Civil Liberties Union, Planned Parenthood, and the US State Department's United Nations mission. She played an active role in the 2004 Presidential election.
