Peaches (Song)

The song "Peaches" by The Stranglers was one of the big summer hits of 1977, a close rival to The Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen" in terms of notoriety. Because of the dubious nature of the lyrics, the B-side Go Buddy Go was the song played on UK radio at the time.It reached number 8 in the charts and the radio cut had to be re done with softer words used.
