Peace Center

The Peace Center is located in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina. It is an arts center that contains three auditoria and markets itself as "the premier performing arts center in South Carolina". It hosts over 300 events each year, including classical music, Broadway shows and appearances by popular artists such as Bill Cosby and David Copperfield. The Peace Center is named after the local Peace family who donated $10 million towards its development. The center was opened in 1990 and is built on the site of three factories - all detiorating before the redevelopment.
