Paulina Rubio

Paulina Rubio is a Latin rock singer and actress, daughter of Susana Dosamantes, a Mexican actress. Rubio began performing as a member of the children's group Timbiriche; she began acting in 1988 with Pasin y Poder, which was followed by Vaselina and Baila Conmigo, a popular TV show. In 1992, Rubio released her debut solo album La Chica Dorada and she became one of the biggest selling recording artists in Mexico. She continued this trend with Paulina, which included her first foray into English language-rock. Her next album Border Girl is completely in English. She released two records in 2004, Sin Pausa and Pau-Latina. Rubio, Paulina
