Paulina Gretzky

Paulina Gretzky (born 1988), is the daughter of legendary NHL hockey player Wayne Gretzky, and an up-and-coming singer. Paulina's Canadian debut was during the highly publicised Oilers/Canadiens game in mid-November 2003. Her first performance was the night before the game, at Rexall Place for a crowd of 8,000 at an event called Legends Live. The next day, the two NHL teams faced off in the Heritage Classic at Commonwealth Stadium, in front of a record NHL attendance of 57,167 fans. Paulina performed a slow rendition of the Sarah McLachlan hit I Will Remember You at the rinkside; she received a standing ovation. Broadcaster Ron MacLean reported that Wayne Gretzky sent a tape of his daughter singing to Don Metz, producer of both the event and the corresponding outdoor entertainment. She is considered by some to be "spitting image" of her mother Janet. Gretzky, Paulina
