Paul Stanley

Stanley Harvey Eisen (born January 20, 1952) aka Paul Stanley, is best known as the rhythm guitarist and vocalist for the rock band KISS. His character is the Starchild. He is one of rock's ultimate frontmen. He's a "cross between an evangelical preacher and Elvis." Stanley entered the rock band Wicked Lester in the early 1970s that had been formed by Chaim Witz who later became Gene Klein, who later became Gene Simmons in KISS. Wicked Lester recorded an album together, but as of 2002, it has never been released. Eventually, two other musicians joined the band, Peter Criscoula and Paul Frehley - who would become Peter Criss and Ace Frehley and the band changed its name to KISS in 1972. KISS released their first self-titled debut in February of 1974. Paul was the driving force for KISS during the 1980s. Producing Animalize while Gene was off making movies in Hollywood. Paul was married to Dallas native, Pamela Bowen. They have one son, Evan Shane Stanley. Paul currently has three signature guitars made by Silvertone. His former signature guitars include the Ibanez Iceman, the Washburn Black Diamond. As of 2005 Paul has had both of his hips replaced. Stanley, Paul
